Getting a Canadian visa!

Then the next most important part...getting a visa and finding a job. Despite currently working in a bank to earn money to fund this trip I won't be able to survive 6 months without working on a holiday/visitor visa! So I needed to get my work visa, this could be done through different work program's however I went with International Experience Canada Programme <http://tinyurl.com/c2yleo6>, these are limited to roughly 5,300 applicants so applying early is a must!

Here I must start to mention The Working Holiday Club (TWHC) <http://the-workingholiday-club.com/uk/>.

When trying to find out how to get a job in Canada I came across this company who also came highly recommended by a friend of mine who went to Canada the year beforehand with them. Run out of Sydney they work with the resorts to hire seasonnaires/workers from Europe, New Zealand and Australia. They guide you through getting your visa, getting a job, and are there with guidance should you need it getting out to the resort and settling in.

right...getting back on track you have to submit two collections of forms which include requiring a ACPO police check (£35) <http://tinyurl.com/9gvxqmy>, passport photos, proof of address etc. It was pretty easy to follow, you just have to make sure you have all documentation. Remember to take copies of all the documents as you won't get any of them back. Send it all off and wait for roughly two months for a response!

Once you get a response either denying or confirming you have to take action. If you've done it wrong you're denied and I don't think you can reapply. If you are confirmed then congratulations!!! Pay your £90 and you're confirmed. Now you just need the job!

I'll talk about getting a job next, I've been through all this already so slowly getting up to date! Can't wait to get out there but 7 weeks left of work is going to drag!
